The Uganda volunteer project is a phenomenal chance for you to come out to Uganda this summer for either two or four weeks, to support the development of a local community, explore and discover the wonders Uganda has to offer, and inspire children to play, learn and uncover the world around them. You will help transform a community school by building an amazing new playground from digging foundation holes to painting and decorating the final playground with a team of trained Ugandan builders and welders. You will also assist in running creative play sessions with the children, to inspire the children to be creative and get imaginative with games, sports and crafts. On top of this, your weekends will give you a chance to explore the mighty River Nile by kayak or horseback ride along its banks, or even try a three days safari trip to see Uganda’s incredible wildlife, there is something for everyone.
